Challenge

A small but growing VoIP operator needed to expand their U.S. network footprint. The first decision, as always, was to build it themselves or to buy connectivity from other network vendors. NaviGo Global quickly engaged with the Client, worked with their senior management team to understand the key success criteria and viable options that they were willing to consider. NaviGo Global was challenged with a quick analysis timeframe prior to a Board meeting deliverable.

Strategy

NaviGo Global was able to leverage our industry expertise to immediately delve into the strategic analysis. We conducted primary and secondary research to substantiate our initial set of recommendations, and we were also able to incorporate a sound response to a last minute evaluation of an additional investment opportunity relating to network expansion. Lastly, immediate next steps were outlined as a result of the strategic review. The analysis and recommendation was outlined in a succinct Board meeting presentation and presented to the Board by NaviGo principles.

Results

The analysis and recommendation was overwhelmingly accepted by the senior management team and the Board of Directors. As a result of the quality and efficiency of the strategic consulting engagement, NaviGo Global was engaged to manage the subsequent steps of the strategy as well as an additional financial analysis for U.S. tandem deployment and current network optimization review. Our Client is now proceeding with the most cost efficient network expansion possible and expects savings of at least 20 percent of network expense as a result of the optimization review.
