Challenge

A maturing voice services operator in Europe has decided to extend their existing offering to a neighboring market. From a technology scaling perspective, the management is confident in the strategy. However, funding the expansion will be a challenge.

Strategy/ Expected Results

NaviGo Global collaborated with the management team to understand the level of investment and associated scope of market penetration success that was likely in the client's venture. Upon understanding the requirements for success, NaviGo was able to find synergies with a US based client that had financial resources, technological leadership in the VoIP space and most importantly, an unrealized mid-term strategy of expanding their business overseas. NaviGo was uniquely situated to facilitate a partnership arrangement between the two VoIP entities to satisfy both the European operator's investment challenges and the American operator's growth objectives. Further, the joint effort has uncovered several operational synergies that will result in overall lower network management costs for both firms.
